Journal

One thing that has helped me tremendously is writing down everything I eat.  My friend Amesha first introduced me to My Fitness Pal and I've been using it every since.  I noticed that when I eat bad things I don't write it down because I don't want to see the damage I've done.  So it really keeps me on track looking at what I've allowed to enter my body for the day.

  1. I so agree. keeping a journal, tracking, etc... it is sometimes key in helping with weight loss. Especially with me!

    1. Me too Lyndi! It really helps me stay on track. If I slack off on journaling, I slack off on the right foods and exercise.

  2. Yes..journaling is an absolutely tremendous help! I've done Weight Watchers in the past, and it definitely teaches one that it's a lifestyle change. It shows us how, just like when we're journaling what we eat, keeps us accountable and shows us how much we're eating and how much healthier we're eating...it also reminds us that if we're not journaling, we're eating waaayyy more than we should and definitely of that bad stuff!

    1. Aunt Rhonda this is so true. If I didn't journal what I ate that day, I know it's probably because I ate too much of the wrong thing and my mind doesn't want to see it on paper lol. If you're on myfitnesspal, add me as a friend.
